  6. Thank you for trying out LogoSaver. We're sure you'll
  7. find it to be a great corporate screen saver, as has
  8. Victoria's Secret, Cordis Corp., Guinness Distillers,
  9. and many other companies.

  11. Registration: 
  12. -------------
  13. Compuserve members can register by going to 
  14. SWREG and entering the ID#7910 for LOGOSAVE.ZIP. 
  15. See order form for additional instructions. 
  16. Registration fee is $19 for individual users 
  17. ($22 via Compuserve registration) or $349 for 
  18. an unlimited corporate site license (use 
  19. Compuserve SWREG #7152). You can also register 
  20. online at our web site:

  26. LogoSaver screen saver has a password option. 
  27. If you select this option, you must remember the
  28. password that you type in. You will be prompted
  29. to enter your password to de-activate the screen
  30. saver and return to your normal desktop. If you
  31. forget your password, to regain control of your
  32. computer you will have to turn off your computer 
  33. and re-boot it, losing all data that
  34. was unsaved at the time.

  36. Installation:
  37. ---------------
  38. To install LOGOSAVER, unzip the 
  39. LOGOSAVE.ZIP file you downloaded.
  40. Then run the SETUP.EXE program. 
  41. Follow the on-screen prompts.
  42. This will load the program onto
  43. your system. To keep file size small
  44. this version does not include the file
  45. ========VBRUN300.DLL,==========
  46. but it is *required* to run the program.
  47. This file must be in your \WINDOWS\SYSTEM directory.

  53. Description:
  54. ------------
  55. Designed as a corporate screen saver,
  56. LogoSaver is a screen saver that will display
  57. any bitmap (.BMP) graphic file that you choose,
  58. bouncing it around the screen. Ideally, the logo 
  59. file should be less than a quarter of the size
  60. of the screen display. A great way to standardize
  61. the company screen saver using the corporate logo.
  62. You can also choose the background color to
  63. properly match your logo.

  66. HINT: If you have a logo in a format other than
  67. .BMP, there are many conversion utilities available
  68. that can change it into a BMP file. You can also use
  69. Microsoft Paintbrush to create or edit a BMP file.

  72. Configuring Screen Saver:
  73. ==========================
  74. (Windows 3.1)
  75. To use the screen saver, double-click 
  76. CONTROL PANEL, usually in the MAIN group 
  77. on your desktop. When CONTROL PANEL opens, 
  78. double-click on DESKTOP to go into the 
  79. desktop configuration screen. About halfway 
  80. down the window, select the Screen Saver Name 
  81. drop-down box. You should find LOGOSAVER in the 
  82. list. Select it. Now click on the SETUP button. 
  83. In the screen saver setup, you can adjust the
  84. settings to your preferences. Click the 
  85. Select Logo button; then you can select 
  86. any .BMP file on your hard drive, and see it in
  87. the Preview Window. Click 'Use Selected File as
  88. My Logo' near the bottom to make the selected logo 
  89. appear when you run the screen saver. Click 
  90. 'Setup Complete' when you are finished. 
  91. That's it. Click EXIT and try the TEST
  92. button.

  94. Right-click the desktop to bring up the 
  95. display panel, or click the START button and
  96. choose Settings/Control Panel; from there you 
  97. can choose DISPLAY. With the Display Panel open,
  98. click on the Screen Saver Tab. Select LOGOSAVER 
  99. from the drop down list of screen savers, and click
  100. Settings to setup. and Preview to test it.

  103. Removing LOGOSAVER:
  104. To remove LOGOSAVER from your system,
  105. delete the file LOGOSAVE.SCR, GALTLOOGO.DAT,
  106. and GALTLOGO.INI from your \WINDOWS directory. 
  107. Also, delete the  directory you chose to 
  108. install to (default C:\GALTWARE -- README & 
  109. ORDER files are stored here).

  114. BY USING THIS SOFTWARE, YOU AGREE TO THE

  117. This version of LogoSaver is shareware. 
  118. You are granted a license to use LogoSaver 
  119. for a period of up to 30 days. After
  120. that time, you are required to purchase the
  121. product(s) through registration or else 
  122. discontinue its use.

  124. You are allowed to make copies of this 
  125. software and distribute it to your friends 
  126. and co-workers, on electronic bulletin
  127. boards, over networks, and so on, as long 
  128. as the product is not distributed for
  129. profit (handling fees up to $5.00 ok). 
  130. If you distribute this software, you agree 
  131. to distribute this installation executable 
  132. which contains the associated files together 
  133. as a group. You are not allowed to bundle 
  134. this software with other products without 
  135. prior written permission from Galt Technology.

  160. in this software. This includes all the 
  161. executable, help, installation, and readme 
  162. files, as well as video files.
